The Ontario Recreation Vehicle Association recognized Roland Goreski, Owner and General Manager of Campkin’s RV Centre in Myrtle Station, Ontario, as Dealer of the Year at their 2017 AGM and Golf tournament on August 9, 2017, at Pike Lake Golf Course in Minto, Ontario.

Goreski’s involvement in the RV industry dates back to the 1970s, when he worked at his family’s dealership, Skyview Trailers in Trenton, Ontario. His father, Mel Goreski, served as a board member of ORVDA and championed industry programs and RV shows.

At Skyview Trailers, he advanced to General Manager and engaged with professional development through Spader and ORVDA initiatives. He participated in a Spader 20 group, which expanded his network across Canada.

When leaving the family business, Goreski contacted Brad Campkin to discuss career opportunities. He began at Campkin’s RV in the Service Department, progressed to Parts Manager, then moved into sales leadership positions.

His professional approach stems from guidance his father shared: “Amateurs make excuses, professionals get it done.” This philosophy positioned him as General Manager at Campkin’s RV, where he oversaw the company’s 2009 expansion and supported growth during challenging economic conditions.
